Let the cost of 1 orange be 'x'

1 dozen = 12

Given,

12x = 75

⇒ x = 75 ÷ 12

x = 6.25

Hence, price of 10 oranges = 10x

                                               = 10 × 6.25

                                       = Rs. 62.5

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

we know , 1 dozen oranges = 12 oranges

we can buy 12 oranges in 75 rupees

we can buy  1  oranges in (75/12) rupees

we can buy 10 oranges in (750/12) rupees
