The Sum of negative probabilities and positive probabilities is always equals to 1 or 100 %
So,
P(E) + P not (E) = 100%
⇒ x/100 × 3 + 6 × x/100 = 100/100
⇒ (3x + 6x )/100 = 1
⇒ 9x = 100
⇒ x = 100/9
⇒ x = 11.1111 ANs.
