There are 366 days in a leap year.

The number of weeks in a leap year = 7.

= 365/7

= 52 \frac{2}{7}

That means 52 weeks + 2 days.

These 2-days can be:

{Mon, Tues},{Tues, Wed},{Wed, Thurs},{Thurs, Fri},{Fri, Sat}, {Sat, Sun},{Sun, Mon}. = 7.

In order to have 53 Wednesdays, we should have either {Tues, Wed},{Wed, Thurs} = 2.

The probability that a leap year consists of 53 Wednesdays = 2/7.

The probability that a leap year consists of 52 Wednesdays = 1 - 2/7

                                                                                                     = 5/7.

Hope this helps!
