Respected Sir,
Subject : Problem of insanitation persists in the area inspite of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was officially launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat where Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself cleaned the road. The campaign has been taken up in remembrance of Mahatma Gandhi's words. It is the biggest national cleanliness campaign which aims to eradicate open defecation by 2019. The government has taken up the work of construction of toilets.
I wish to bring to your notice, that inspite of the large scale efforts of the government the sanitary conditions in the area where I live continue to be disagreeable. At the end of the road there is a small nullah which is still being used for defecation. It is a very disgusting sight for the people who have to use the road which leads to many offices and the main bazaar.
I would be very grateful if you could create awareness among the people of the area and also get some toilets built by the local municipality. So that the people who use the road and the local people do not have to suffer due to insanitation.
Thanking You
Yours Sincerely
Suresh Chaubey
