The process of a bill becoming a Law is given below. Arrange the process in
chronological order.
a) Voting stage- Debate is restricted to either accept the bill or reject the bill.
b) A minister or a private member introduces the bill.
c) Bill is sent to the Governor for approval.
d) General discussion on the bill. Changes or amendments can be made and they
become a part of the bill.
e) If the Governor signs the bill, it becomes a law.
f) Governor suggests changes or might reserve it for the consideration of the
President of India.
