Change in community as mentioned in question is - ecological succession.

Ecological succession is the change or development of environmental species over period of time.

The succession may result due to two factors namely biotic and abiotic. Biotic factors involving living organisms while abiotic factors involve environmental causes.

Ecologic succession are of two types on the basis of occurrence of life. These two successions are primary and secondary ecological successions.

Primary succession is the succession where life starts developing for the very first time on piece of land.

Secondary succession is the succession where life starts again, after being damaged due to calamity.
