Psuedopod is used to support the ameba move and it also eats.

Hence this part of the amoeba body will stretch out as well as the pull itself with real support to body.

In order to eat, the amoeba stretches out with the body pseudopood surrounded a piece of food and also pull into the part of the rest of other part of amoeba body.

Amoeba engulfs tiny particles of food with the help of its false feet called Pseudopodia. This process is called circumvallation. The Pseudopodia close to form a small cavity called food vacuole. Here the enzymes help the breakdown of food into simpler and soluble molecules. This then get absorbed and assimilated and residue is thrown out through the contractile vacuole, as Amoeba has no anus. so it can excrete from any part .
