calgon

Phosphate dosing: Add a small amount of phosphate ions to the water, the effect (I'm unsure of the mechanism) is to inhibit the deposition of Carbonate scale on to surfaces especially heated surfaces. The can also be done by adding the phosphates directly on a batch basis, one such product - calgon
