multiplying x ³+3x²-5x by ( x-1 )

Here, (x-1) = 0

so,

  • x-1=0
  • X=1

now putting 1 in place on X we get;

  • (1)³ + 3(1)² - 5(1)
  • 1 + 3 -5
  • 4-5
  • -1
