Answer:

(2x-a)(2x+3a)

=2x(2x+3a)-a(2x+3a)

=4x²+6xa-2ax-3a²

=4x²+6xa-2xa-3a²

=4x²+4xa-3a²

or by using the formula

(x+a)(x+b)=x²+(a+b)x+ab

Here, x=2x, a=-a, b=3a

On substituting the values of a,b and x,

we have, (2x)²+(-a+3a)2x+(-a × 3a)

= 4x²+(2a)2x-3a²

= 4x²+4xa-3a²
