here it is in the form (a+b)(a-b)

Answer:

The sum of (5+3√) and (5-3√)

= 5+3√ + 5-3√

= 10. (since +3√ and - 3√ get cancelled due to opposite sign)

The product of (5+3√) and (5-3√)

= (5+3√) (5-3√)

= 5^2-(3√)^2

= 25-3

= 22
