if y = 4 then 4 × 4 + 0 = 16. so, it is not accepted

if y = 8 then 8 × 8 + 4 = 68. so it is accepted

After this we have z = 6 and y = 8

Now, from (3)

we have x × 8 + 6 = 38

8x = 38 -32

8x =  6

x = 4
