Let the required 3 digit number be xyz.

x is at hundreds place

y is at tens place

z is at ones place.

According to the question,

xyz × y = 3888

So, z × y = a8 .........(1)

y × y  + a = b8 .............(2)

z × y + b = 38 ..............(3)

Since All digits are even.

For (1), we have

z = 2 or 6  then y = 4 or 8

2 × 4 = 08   or 6 × 8 = 48  

for (2) ,we have

if y = 4 then 4 × 4 + 0 = 16. so, it is not accepted

if y = 8 then 8 × 8 + 4 = 68. so it is accepted

After this we have z = 6 and y = 8

Now, from (3)

we have x × 8 + 6 = 38

8x = 38 -32

8x =  6

x = 4

Therefore, Three Digit number is 486.
