The product of rational and irrational number is an (b) irrational number.

Explanation :-

The product of any rational and irrational number is irrational.

If a is a rational number and b is an irrational number. Then ab is irrational.

For example :-

a = 2 ( rational number ) ,

b = √3 ( irrational number )

Now find product of both the numbers = a × b

So , product is 2√3 , which is an irrational number
