The product of any three consecutive numbers is always divisible by 6. Give examples. Why is this so?

Answer:

Simple. Among three consecutive number there has to be one that is divisible by 2 and one that is divisible by 3. So their product is simultaneously divisible by 2 and 3 , thus 6.
