Given. Product of 4 consecutive natural numbers is 840.
There are two Ways to solve this type of questions....
(1) using Variables x-1,x,x+1,x+2...
But since Product is given... It will Result in a Big polynomial And Hence Consume time...
But if the sum was Given... Using This Method Is More time Saving....
(2) Let us Take the Prime Factorisation of 840...
And Hopefully It will Take us To The Answer....
Just need to use some Logic...
840=2×2×2×3×5×7
( Try to Relate this as Four consecutive numbers)
Here We Have....
5 and7... But (2×2) gives 4 and (2×3) gives 6
i.e, (2×2)×(2×3)×5×7
→4×6×5×7
Arranging them in the increasing Sequence...
4×5×6×7 =840
So 4,5,6,7 are The Answers You are looking for....
