5

Answer:

let the integer be -x

[-x+4} * [-4x-16]= 36

4x^2 +16x - 16x -64=36

4x^2 = 64+36

4x^2 = 100

x^2 = 100/4

= 25

x = sqrt 25

= 5 & -5

5 will be discarded as the integer is negative.

so -5 is the required integer.
