Lets assume fraction B is 'x'

Thus as per question, fraction A will be 3x.

now,

(x) X (3x) = 3/49

or, 3x² = 3/49

or, x² = 1/49

or, x = 1/7

Thus fraction B is 1/7 & fraction A is 3/7.

Note: Fraction B can be also (-1/7) and then fraction A would be (-3/7).
