The product of multiplicative inverses of -9/2 and 5/18 are -4/5.

Given - Fractions

Find - Product of reciprocal

Solution - The multiplicative inverse is also known as reciprocal.

So, firstly finding the reciprocal or multiplicative inverse of the number.

First number =  -  \frac{9}{2}

Reciprocal of first number =  -  \frac{2}{9}

Second number =  \frac{5}{18}

Reciprocal of second number =  \frac{18}{5}

Product of these numbers =  -  \frac{2}{9}  \times  \frac{18}{5}

Firstly dividing the numbers and multiplying them based on their position

Product =  -  \frac{4}{5}

Hence, the product of multiplicative inverses of -9/2 and 5/18 is -4/5.
