let the ankita age be
let \: the \: ankita \: age \: be \: x \: then \\ \:  \: nikita \: age \: be \: x + 4 \:  \\ so \: atq \: x + x + 4 = 240 \\ 2x + 4 = 240 \\ 2x = 240 - 4 \\ 2x = 236 \\ x = 236 \div 2 = 118 \\ hence \: the \: age \: of \: ankita \: be \: 118 \: and \: nikita \: age \: 118 + 4 = 122 \\ please \: sory \: for \: any \: mistake
