Given : 4x²+3x-7

To find :product of zeroes of polynomial

Solution:

We have a polynomial:

=4x²+3x- 7

= 4x² +7x - 4x -7 ( factorising)

Taking common:

= x(4x+7)-1(4x+7)

=( x-1)( 4x+7) ( again taking terms common)

Now equating with zero: x-1 =0

x =1

4x+7=0

x= -7/4 (Transposing)

Zeroes of polynomial are 1 and-7/4

Product of zeroes of polynomial is :

= 1×-7/4 ( Multiplying)

we get:

= -7/4

Answer: product of zeroes of polynomial is - 7/4.Option d is correct
