Larger = x+2

X(x+2) = 50 + 3(x+2)

X² + 2x = 50 + 3x + 6

X² + 2x - 3x - 50 - 6 = 0

X² - x - 56 = 0

X² - 8x + 7x - 56 = 0

X(x - 8) + 7 ( x - 8) = 0

X-8 = 0 , X + 7 = 0

X = 8 , X = -7

We take +ve one

X = 8

X+2 = 8+2 = 10

Bcz if v take -ve the largest no. becomes smallest
