one integer is x
another is x+1
product is x(x+1)=20;
=x2+x=20;
=x(x+5)-4(x+5)=0
x=-5 or x=4;
integers is 4 and 5
or -5 and -4
another is x+1
product is x(x+1)=20;
=x2+x=20;
=x(x+5)-4(x+5)=0
x=-5 or x=4;
integers is 4 and 5
or -5 and -4

Let the First Integer is x.
∴ second Integer = x+1
A/Q,
x(x + 1) = 20
⇒ x² + x = 20
⇒ x² + x - 20 = 0
⇒ x² + 5x - 4x -20 = 0
⇒ x(x +5) - 4(x +5) = 0
⇒ (x + 5) (x - 4) = 0
∴ x + 5 = 0 ⇒ x = -5
& x - 4 = 0 ⇒ x = 4
When x = -5
First integer is -5 and next integer i = x+1 = -4.
when x = 4
First integer is 4 and next integer = x+1 = 5.
