Hey friend here is your answer.
Let no be x and x+ 1
Therefore , x (× + 1 ) = 306
x^2 + x - 306 = 0
x^2 + 18x - 17x - 306 = 0
x ( x + 18) - 17 (x + 18 ) =0
(x -17) or x + 18
Therefore , x = 17 and x = -18
But - 18 reject
So the no are 17 and 17+ 1 = 18.
Hope it helps you.

The product of two consecutive integers is 306. Find those two integers.
Let the 1st integer be x and 2nd be x + 1
Their product is 306
According to the given condition
x × x + 1 = 306
☛ x² + x = 306
☛ x² + x - 306 = 0
☛ x² + 18x - 17x - 306 = 0
☛ x(x + 18) - 17(x + 18) = 0
☛ (x + 18) (x - 7) = 0
☛ x = 17 or x = -18
∴ 1st integer ☛ x
☛ 17
∴ 2nd integer ☛ x + 1
☛ 17 + 1
☛ 18
∴
