Given:

The product of two successive positive integers is 306.

To Find:

We have to write a suitable quadratic equation for the above situation.

Concept Used:

We will make use of assumption of two successive integers as x and x+1.

Answer:

Let us suppose the two consecutive integers as x & x+1 .

By question we have to multiply these.

So,this will give us,

(x+1)x

And this equals to 306.

Equating these,

=> x(x+1) =306.

=> x²+x =306.

.°. +x-306 = 0 .

.°. The suitable quadratic equation will be +x-306 =0
