Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two integers be x and x+1

Product=306

X(x+1)=306

X^2+x=306

x^2+x-306=0

By spliting the middle term

(X+18)(x-17)=0

X=-18,x=17

We want

Positive integer so x=17

X+1=17+1=18

The two numbers are 17 and 18.

Let the two consecutive numbers be x and x+1

According to question=>

(Thier product =306)

(x)(x+1)=306

x²+x=306

x²+x-306=0

Now, solving by middle spliting method<=>

=>x²+18x-17x-306=0

=>x(x+18)-17(x+18)=0

=>(x-17)(x+18)=0

=>x-17=0 , x+18=0

=>x=17 , x=-18(Rejected)

[-18 is rejected because positive integer cannot be in negative value]

Therefore,x=17

x+1=17+1=18

Therefore, two positive integers are 17 and 18
