Let the two consecutive square no. is x and x+1
According to question
x^2 + ( x+1)^2 = 144
x^2 + x^2 + 1 + 2x = 144
2x^2 + 2x = 144 - 1
2x^2 + 2x - 143 = 0
2x^2 + 13x - 11x -143 = 0
2x(x + 13) - 11(x + 13) = 0
(x+13) (2x - 11) = 0
x = -13 and 11/2 .
the product of these no. is 144.
