Let x be the fraction

 \longmapsto \sf x \times  \frac{3}{5} =  \frac{9}{4} \\

\longmapsto \sf x =  \frac{9}{4} \times  \frac{5}{3} \\

\longmapsto \sf x =  \frac{3}{4} \times 5 \\

\longmapsto \boxed{ \sf x =  \frac{15}{4}} \\

Given -

  • Product of two fractions is 9/4.
  • One of them is ⅗.

To find -

  • Another fraction.

Solution -

We have one fraction and need to find the other fraction. Firstly,

  • Let the other fraction be x.

It is given that product of both fractions is 9/4.

\tt\dashrightarrow{\dfrac{3}{5} \times x = \dfrac{9}{4}}

We will transfer 3/5 from L.H.S to R.H.S, it becomes reciprocal when transferred.

\tt\dashrightarrow{x = \dfrac{\cancel{9}}{4} \times \dfrac{5}{\cancel{3}}}

\tt\dashrightarrow{x = \dfrac{3}{4} \times 5}

\bf\dashrightarrow{x = \dfrac{15}{4}}

Hence,

  • The another required fraction is 15/4.
