We have to find the other integer .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given ,

Product of two integer = (-90)

If one of the integer = (-6)

Other integer=?

SOLUTION:

SOLUTION:

STEP-1:

Let the first integer be x and other number be y.

According to question,

x \times y = ( - 90) \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ...(1)

The value of x= (-6)

Put the value ,we get

 - 6 \times y = ( - 90)

STEP-2:

shift the -6 toward Right hand side ,

y =  \frac{ - 90}{ - 6}

First there are two negative sign ,then they cancel out each other, it become positive values

y = \frac{ 90}{6} denominator and numerator to be divided by 6 ,we get

y =  \frac{ 90 \div 6}{  6 \div 6}

When we divide 90 by 6 , we find 15 as quotient

y =  \frac{15}{1}

So,

y = 15

STEP-3:

verification:

Put the value of first and second number in equation (1) ,

x \times y =  - 90

The value of x= -6

The value of y= 15

Now ,

15 \times ( - 6) =  - 90

 - 90 =  - 90

Hence Proved
