  \implies - 32  \times  a \:  number =  - 960

  • The result given here is negative, So the second number should be positive.

 \implies - 32 \times x =  - 960

 \implies x =    \frac{ - 960} { - 32}

  • Minus and Minus sign cancelled.

 \implies x = 30
