Let the largest no. be x

Then,

x + 125 = 540

→ x = 540 - 125

= 415

Hence the largest no. = 415

Now by multiplying them we get,

415 × 125 = 51875 (ans)

Given :

  • The product of 2 numbers is 540.
  • The smaller number is 125.

To Find :

  • We should find the second number i.e the larger number.

Let us take the larger number as x.

Given that, the smaller number = 125

Product of 2 numbers = 540

So,

125 \times x = 540

x =  \frac{540}{125}

x = 4.32

Hence, the other number is 4.32
