heya Mate here is your answer

A.T.Q.

let the number be x

2nd number = 16x

x(16x) = 1296

=> 16x² = 1296

=> x² = 1296/16 = 81

=> x = √81 = ± 9

so 2nd number = 16×9 = 144

hope it helps..

\sf Given \begin{cases} & \text{Product of two numbers is 1296. }  \\ & \text{One of the number is 16 times the other number. } \end{cases}\\ \\

We have to find, The numbers.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

☯ Let the other number be x

☯ Therefore, 16 times of that number is 16 × x = 16x \\ \\

\underline{\bigstar\:\boldsymbol{According\:to\: Question\::}}\\ \\

☯ Product of two number is 1296. \\ \\

:\implies\sf x \times 16x = 1296\\ \\

:\implies\sf 16x^2 = 1296\\ \\

:\implies\sf x^2 = \dfrac{1296}{16}\\ \\

:\implies\sf x^2 = 81\\ \\

:\implies\sf \sqrt{x^2} = \sqrt{81}\\ \\

:\implies{\boxed{\sf{\purple{x = 9}}}}\;\bigstar\\ \\

Therefore, the numbers are, \\ \\

  • x = 9
  • 16x = 16 × 9 = 144 \\ \\

\therefore\;{\underline{\sf{Thus,\;the\;two\;number\;are\;9\;and\;144.}}}

\boxed{\underline{\underline{\bigstar \: \bf\:More\:to\:know\:\bigstar}}} \\  \\
