Let the other number be X

x×5=-20/7

x=-20/7÷5

x=-20/7×1/5

x=-4/7

hope this helps you.

  • The product of two Number is \frac{-20}{7}.if one of the number is 5 find the other.

So,

\implies\sf\blue{5×x=\frac{-20}{7}}

\implies\sf\blue{5x=\frac{-20}{7}}

\implies\sf\blue{35x=-20}

\implies\sf\blue{x=\frac{-20}{35}}

\implies\sf\blue{x=\frac{-4}{7}}

So,

The required Number is \frac{-4}{7}
