hola!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The product of two number is 2352 and their h.c.f. is 14. the number of such pairs is:

-----------------------------------------------------------

here is the soultion

but before doing lets know what is co prime?

ans , Two integers a and b are said to be coprime or relatively prime if they have no common positive factor other than 1 or, equivalently, if their greatest common divisor is 1.

now,

let the two numbers be 14a  and 14b (as hcf is 14)

14a *14b = 2352

196ab = 2352

ab = 2352/196

ab=12

so the co -primes of 12 are (1,12) and (3,4)

so there are 2 pairs that is (1,12) and (3,4)

hope it helps u

:)

Thanks for asking this question. Here is your answer:

Let the two numbers be 14a  and 14b

14a x 14b = 2352

196 ab = 2352

ab = 2352/196

ab=12

(1,12) and (3,4) (these are the co primes of 12)

Now we will make the following pairs:

(1,12) and (3,4)
