3.875 or  \frac{31}{8}

Let the other number be 'x'.

Given,

x × 6\frac{2}{3} = 25 \frac{5}{6}

Converting mixed fractions into improper fractions,

(To turn a mixed number into an improper fraction, multiply the whole number with the denominator of the proper fraction. Add the numerator of the proper fraction to this product to obtain the numerator of the improper fraction.)

∴ x × \frac{20}{3} = \frac{155}{6}

∴ x = \frac{155}{6} / \frac{20}{3}

∴ x = \frac{155*3}{6*20}

∴ x = \frac{155}{40}

∴ x = \frac{31}{8} or 3.875
