ab=120 a square + b square =289

use (a+b)*2  formula u'll get a+b=23

a=15 and b= 8

a^2+b^2=289

a+b=?

a^2+2ab+b^2=(a+b)^2

289+2X120=(a+b)^2

289+240=(a+b)^2

529=(a+b)^2

(a+b)=√529

a+b=23

So it is (b)23
