Given the product of two numbers = 1296

Also given that , one number is 16 times the other number

Let the other number be 'x' .

16 times of that number = 16×x = 16x

Now , Product of two numbers = 1296

⇒x×16x = 1296

⇒16x² = 1296

⇒ x² = 1296/16

⇒ x² = 81

⇒ x = √81 = 9

Therefore , the numbers are (x) = 9 ,

(16x) = 16 × 9 = 144 .
