Given,

Product of two numbers \[ = 16\frac{1}{2}\]

One number \[ = 2\frac{3}{4}\]

Other number = ?

Solution,

Consider the other number is x.

\[2\frac{3}{4} \times x = 16\frac{1}{2}\]

\[\frac{{11}}{4} \times x = \frac{{33}}{2}\]

\[ \Rightarrow x = \frac{{33}}{2} \times \frac{4}{{11}}\]

\[ \Rightarrow x = 6\]

Hence the other number is 6.
