Step-by-step explanation:

let the number be 'x'

we have 5 fingers on one hand and if multiplied by two the answer is 10

number of tricycle is 3

2x+2(5) ÷3= 48

2x+10÷3=48

2x+10=48÷3

2x+10=16

2x=16-10

2x=6

x=6/2

x=3
