 \underline{ \green{ \bf{Given : }}}

  • Products of two positive no. is 15,867
  • The larger no. is 8 times than the other one.

\underline{ \green{ \bf{To \: find : }}}

  • The original no.

\underline{ \green{ \bf{Solution : }}}

If we assume that the another no. is x

Then 8x will be also a number according to the given statement.

NOW,

 ☯ \begin{gathered}\underline{\boldsymbol{According\: to \:the\: question :}}\\\end{gathered}

\sf\implies  x + 8x = 15867\\  \sf\implies 9x = 15867\\  \sf\implies x =  \frac{ \cancel{15867}}{ \cancel9}  \\  { \underline{ \boxed{\bf{ \green{ \therefore \: x = 1763}}}}}

Therefore,

Required answer :

One no. is x = 1,763

And, another one will be 8x = 8 × 1,763 :

14,104
