according to question

(x+3)×x=378

=>x²+3x=378

=>x²+3x-378=0

by factoring we get

=>(x+21)(x-18)=0

ignoring the negative value

we get,

x=18

first no.=x+3=18+3=21

second no. =18

their sum

=18+21=39
