Let the other rational number be x.

According To Question→

x × -5/2 = -40/3

or, -5x/2 = -40/3

or, 3(-5x) = -40(2)

or, -15x = -80

or, 15x = 80

or, x = 80/15

or, x = 16/3

Answer→. Other number is 16/3.
