Give :

The product of 2 rational numbers = -5\16

One number (x) = 4/18

Another number (y) = ?

Solution :

x × y = -5/16

(4/18) × y = -5/16

y = (-5/16) × (18/4)

y = -45/32

Therefore, another rational number is ' -45/32 '.

Let the unknown number be x,

 \\  \frac{4}{18}  \times x =  \frac{ - 5}{16}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 5}{16}  \times  \frac{18}{4}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 90}{64}   \\ x =   \frac{ - 45}{32}

{\boxed{\bold{\red{-45/32}}}}

hope it helps
