Let the other number = a

One number = -3/20

Product = 5/18

-3/20 x a = 5/18

a = 5/18 ~ -3/20

a = 5/18 x -20/3

a = -50/27

Hope it helps....

GIVEN :  One Rational Number = \frac{-3}{20}    ; Product of two rational number = \frac{5}{18}

TO FIND : Other rational number

SOLUTION :

Let another Rational number be x.

Product of two rational number = \frac{5}{18}

\frac{-3}{20 } × x = \frac{5}{18}

\frac{-3x}{20}  =  \frac{5}{18}

-3x = \frac{5. 20}{18}

- 3x = \frac{100}{18}

-3 x = 5.55

x = \frac{5.55}{-3}

x =  -1.85

Other Rational Number is  -1.85 .
