Given

 product of two rational numbers = \frac{8}{9}

 one number of the product = \frac{10}{3}

To find

 the other number of the product of two rational numbers

Solution

  Let 'x' be the other number of the product, then

                           \frac{10}{3} × x = \frac{8}{9}

                                  x = \frac{8}{9} ÷ \frac{10}{3}

Now, multiply by taking reciprocal of the number

                                     = \frac{8}{9} × \frac{3}{10}

                                     = \frac{4}{3} × \frac{1}{5}

                                     = \frac{4}{15}

                             x = \frac{4}{15}

Answer

The other number of the product of two rational numbers is  \frac{4}{15}
