 the other number of the product of two rational numbers

Solution

  Let '$x$' be the other number of the product, then

                           $\frac{10}{3}$ × $x$ = $\frac{8}{9}$

                                  $x$ = $\frac{8}{9}$ ÷ $\frac{10}{3}$

Now, multiply by taking reciprocal of the number

                                     = $\frac{8}{9}$ × $\frac{3}{10}$

                                     = $\frac{4}{3}$ × $\frac{1}{5}$

                                     = $\frac{4}{15}$

                             $x$ = $\frac{4}{15}$

Answer

The other number of the product of two rational numbers is  $\frac{4}{15}$
