Answer :

Suppose the required rational number is X

Other rational number = -15/14

Since the product of these two rational numbers is -16/35

=> (X) × (-15/14) = -16/35

=> X = (-16/35) × (-14/15)

=> X = (16×14)/(35×15)

=> X = 224/525

So lets verify our answer now,
(X) × (-15/14) = (224/525) × (-15/14) = - (224×15)/(525×14) = -16/35.

● So the required rational number is 224/525
