Answer:

given,

product=-8/9

one of the number =-4/15

let the other rational number be x

so,

-4/15•x=-8/9

x= (-8/9)/(-4/15)

x=-8/9•-15/4

x= 30/9

therefore the other rational number is 30/9

Let the other number be x

ATQ,

= \displaystyle\frac {-4}{5}× x =\displaystyle\frac {-8}{9}

= x = \displaystyle\frac {-8}{9}÷\displaystyle\frac {-4}{5}

= x =  \displaystyle\frac {-8}{9}×\displaystyle\frac {-5}{4}

= x =  \displaystyle\frac {-10}{9}

 \displaystyle\frac {-10}{9} is the required answer of the question.
