Answer:

Let the two successive multiples of 10 be x and x+10

Now,

X(X+10) = 1200

=> X^2 +10X-1200 = 0

=> X^2+40X-30X = 1200

=> (X+40)(X-30)

=> X= 40 and X = -30

X cannot be negative,Since the numbers are successive multiples of 10.

So, X= 30 and X+10 = 40.

And their product = 40×30 = 1200.

Hence,Multiples are 30 and 40.

Hope it helps you.
