Example: The H.C.F. and L.C.M. of two numbers are 25 and 1125. If one of the numbers is 125, then
find the other.​

Given :-

• HCF of two numbers = 25
• LCM of two numbers = 1125
• One number = 125

To Find :-

• Other Number

Solution :-

As we know that

→ LCM × HCF = product of two numbers

Let the other number be x

→ 1125 × 25 = 125*x

→ x = 1125 × 25/125

→ x = 225

Hence,

• The other number is 225
