the profit earned by selling an article for rupees 680 is equal to the loss incurred when the same article is sold for rupees 420 what should be the same price of the article for making 60% profit

Let CP = x

Then 680-x=x-420

-x-x=-420-680

-2x=-1100

x=Rs 550

Required S. P=160% of 550

=Rs 880
