The progeny of a sexually reproducing organisms is never the replica of the parents in all respects . Mention ay two factors that cause varaiation.

 there are two different genes or say gametes included in a sexual mode of reproduction  therefore the offspring shows characteristics of both parents and not the replica of one. But if u consider asexual mode of reproduction there is only one parent so the offspring is just the identical to the parents for eg. plants(flowers)
